The Internet was abuzz about the details embedded within Taylor Swift’s newest music video, “Look What You Made Me Do.” The music video allegedly included hidden messages aimed at her past boyfriends.
In a recent video report by E! News, the entertainment website noted a scene where Swift was wearing black leotards and fish net leggings, along with some men behind her. These men were back-up dancers during this controversial scene.
This scene was also pointed out by critics to be a rip-off from Beyonce’s Super Bowl performance. In here, the female country singer was wearing the same type of outfit Beyonce wore when she performed her single, “Formation.”
On this note, they both had back-up dancing men behind them.
E! News said Swift’s eight back-up dancers were references to some of her previous relationships. Each dancer represented an ex-boyfriend, such as Joe Jonas, Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris, John Mayer, Harry Styles, Conor Kennedy, Taylor Lautner, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
'I heart T.S.'
In the “Look What You Made Do” music video, the eight men were wearing black shirts that read, “I heart T.S.” According to the entertainment news website, this was the same design seen on the shirt of Hiddleston, when the two were on vacation together.
Moreover, the exact same t-shirt printed design is now being officially sold as a merchandise on her official website. The black-colored shirt is sold at $50.
The international pop singer earlier featured snake-inspired jewelry items on her website.
These snakes were remarkable, as they were the images used in the branding and promotion of her newest album and single.
Swift is also selling the silver snake ring and gold snake ring, each for $60. The silver one is plated with platinum, while the gold-colored ring is plated with 24-karat gold. Both of these pieces are made with around 300 crystal zircons, and eight grams of silver.
Dropped some friends?
Taylor Swift is known for her music videos that include many of her long-time Friends. But this time, she seemed to have dropped some in her new project.
Names of her friends appeared handwritten over the shirt the female singer was wearing in the music video. These names included Abigail Anderson, Alana Haim, Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Claire Kislinger, Ed Sheeran, Danielle Haim and Este Haim, E!
News reported.
But fans noticed that some of her best friends were not included on the list, particularly those of Karlie Kloss, Ruby Rose and Lorde. The absence of their names from the shirt's handwriting made them speculate whether the “Bad Blood” singer is currently not on good terms with them,
“But who knows, maybe these names are hiding under the armpit part,” E! News quipped. Swift launched her new single during the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.
