Although Taylor Swift didn’t perform at the recent MTV Video Music Awards, the 27-year-old star made some noise by dropping her new music video at the event. As a lot of the attendees were left in awe, it looks like her former boyfriend, Calvin Harris, wasn’t impressed by her new offering.

Harris ignores Swift’s new music video

While the “Look What You Made Me Do” official music video was unveiled at the MTV Music Video Awards, it seemed like Calvin Harris just ignored its debut.

Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend was busy talking to his seatmate as the clip was playing on the big screen.

Clearly, he was not giving his attention to the newly premiered video, OK Magazine reported.

Also, he didn’t join the attendees who gave their round of applause when the clip finished showing. To recall, the two ended their relationship in June 2016 after being together for 15 months.

A take on her enemies

Evidently, Taylor Swift has all the attention because of her new controversial single and music video. However, it looks like Calvin Harris is going to hit her back with a new song he is about to drop.

Just before the 27-year-old hitmaker dropped “Look What You Made Me Do,” the 33-year-old DJ shared an interesting photo on his Snapchat account. He was seen drinking a red drink - some believed it was a beet juice - inside a studio and called it “blood.” So, some think that he might be referencing to her ex-girlfriend’s hit song, “Bad Blood.”

According to Teen Vogue, this might be also Calvin Harris’ way to show that he is not afraid to bite back at her.

From the looks of it, Taylor Swift’s new music video is about having a new image and warning her enemies, who could be Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, or Katy Perry. It could also reference her ex-boyfriends like Harris himself and Tom Hiddleston.

The alleged bad blood

In “Look What You Made Me Do,” Taylor Swift was talking about karma.

"I've got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined,” the lyrics read. She clearly said that she is thinking about karma and although she already got hers, the time will come when her enemies will soon theirs.

There are swirling rumors that Calvin Harries and his ex-girlfriend have bad blood between them. In fact, Harris’ newest singles, “Olé” and “My Way,” are said to be about Swift, although he later slammed the speculation about it. They even made peace on Twitter so, some believe that the release of Harris’ new song in the making and the “blood” juice snap are just merely a coincidence.
