“Force Friday II” is coming soon and fans are now expecting to see more hints about “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” in the merchandise. Reddit is revealing new leakage of what is about to come and there is one image that stands out from the rest.
Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) and Kylo Ren’s (Adam Driver) snap is now making rounds over the internet and it seems like it means something. Also, there are swirling rumors about Maz Kanata’s (Lupita Nyong’o) role in the upcoming “Episode 8.”
Kanata’s role
Although Maz Kanata just had a small stint in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and would be seen even less in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” she still played a very important role nonetheless.
In a report made by Making Star Wars, Lupita Nyong’o’s role is said to have something to do with Benicio Del Toro’s character as DJ. Allegedly, Maz Kanata is going to introduce the Resistance to the mysterious role played by the 50-year-old award-winning actor. From the looks of it, he will be a new ally that could possibly help the Light Side go against the First Order.
The ancient humanoid is now a more active member of the Resistance and is taking a role in the criminal underworld. However, fans still have to wait for a few months before they finally see what Maz Kanata is up to, especially now that the film’s details are shrouded in secrecy.
A distinct image of Snoke and company
As things about “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” remain under wraps, fans are expecting to know more about the film in the coming “Force Friday II.” There will be a lot of the movie’s merchandise up for sale that are said to be promoting the eighth film installment, Comic Book reported.
An image of Kylo Ren and Supreme Leader Snoke along with the Praetorian Guards is now making its rounds on Reddit. The snap revealed Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia Organa’s (Carrie Fisher) only son kneeling in front of his helmet, which is placed on the ground. He is being guarded by two elite guards of the First Order’s leader.
One sentinel is holding a sectioned sword while the other one is bearing a spear. They, too, have different helmets. Snoke can also be seen looming large in the background with a clearer look at her face compared to what fans saw in “The Force Awakens.” With that, fans think that Kylo Ren will be going against the Knights of Ren or the Elite Praetorian Guards, leaving the Dark Side behind.
