The newSupernatural” Season 13 episode, “Lost and Found” will be the show’s 265th episode, by far counting them closer to their 300th. Still, the CW’s show and fan base remain strong over 14 years. Jensen Ackles who plays one of the Winchesters, Dean, might have come up with a sad idea to end the show in the future, as he would like one to die between his and Jared Padalecki's character.

Jared Padalecki's on-screen brother, Jensen Ackles already had his shot at directing and it seems like the actor enjoyed every bit of it, even picturing a decent ending for the show that involves Sam’s final death and even getting rid of the Impala forever.

Fans are reportedly shocked and saddened about Ackle's idea.

Fans are reportedly shocked and saddened about Ackle's idea. Knowing how much the fans of the TV series want Dean and Sam to survive, one of them might bid their goodbye if Ackles would direct the finale.

Jensen Ackles shares his thoughts about the finale

The actor pictured a scenery that seems fit for the ending: wheat fields and crossroads except he is not summoning a demon or Crowley or anyone. “It is like ’Lawrence of Arabia’ when Omar Sharif was running up with the camel," as he talks about a guy on the motorbike.

Ackles says he would never see the face of the guy on a bike as they will only see his helmet. He would walk up to him and give him a nod as he walks slowly towards him and gives him the keys to the bike.

“From his back, he gets in the car and I watch the Impala drive off,” Ackles adds, “and then I turn and I look at the bike that has got one seat.”

Ackles also wants the scene to end as the Impala vanishes and stated that he would also like the man to disappear with it.

Ackles wants only one Winchester man to survive

In the end, Ackles came up with a cliffhanger, just like what the showrunners usually do.

But what is saddening about it is the idea that only one Winchester gets to survive. In some sense, it does fit the whole idea of "Supernatural" but it could surely break hearts at a whim.

But it is just a vision! "Supernatural" does not plan to end anytime soon. In fact, the actor also hinted a return of one or two familiar faces.

Right after, he reassured fans that they are not running out of fan favorites.

But what could be a great ending for “Supernatural” Season 13 aside from Jensen Ackles’ idea? Do they really have to leave one Winchester alone or should they come up with something lighter instead of a sad one? “Supernatural” Season 13 returns this October starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.
