"Planet of the Apes" is a hit Movie Franchise that features apes trying to co-exist among humans. Over time, the relationship turns sour and violence erupts between the two. Most of the movies have been met with critical acclaim from both critics and fans.

In fact, the newest movie 'War for the Planet of the Apes' was met with great acclaim. It was also recently announced that a game is in the making. There are plenty of great games coming out next year too. The game is called "Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier," and it will be releasing in the Fall for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The details

A studio named Imaginarium Studios has found the video game to the Apes film franchise and will be creating it.

"Last Frontier" was teased at Comic-Con in New York last October. Actor Andy Serkis is actually going to be involved in the making of the game because he is the founder of Imaginarium Studios. He portrays the main character in the films through motion capture.

Like a lot of games today, it will have multiple endings and each decision a player makes will impact the final outcome. It will play out like "an interactive movie," as players are able to choose the dialogue. Now, the game is coming out in the Fall, but no exact release date has been announced by publisher FoxNet.

Although, fans and gamers will not have to wait a long time for the game to arrive, as the season is almost upon us.

Gameplay trailer

An article written by Kevin Knezevic via GameSpot reveals the latest details on the game. The studio has additionally released a gameplay trailer for the game setting the "bleak conflict" that players will have to go through.

The article states that the game is "a narrative-driven adventure game of conquest, betrayal, and survival." The game is actually being set between the last two films. 'Last frontier' will be "set between the events of the series' two most recent films, "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" and and "War for the Planet of the Apes."

This seems to be a good move by the studio.

It will certainly show the conflict between the apes and humans living together and later breaking out into an all out war. The studio will allow players to play as both sides, as a human and as an ape. This is a solid move because playing as an ape will be very entertaining, but playing as a human will help portray the story and add familiarity. The game sounds very interesting and who knows, it could even be a 'sleeper hit' for this year.
