"The Real Housewives of New York" star luann de lesseps filed for divorce suddenly last Thursday from her husband, Tom D'Agostino. Many fans of Luann had expected this divorce filing because she had been very unhappy in her marriage to Tom. He had been caught cheating on her once before prior to the wedding, but rumors continued to surface about his bachelor ways and how he couldn't be a one-woman man.
There was nothing in particular that happened in the days leading up to the divorce filing, but Luann was shocked and surprised to hear about what people were saying about her marriage in the press.
Tom had supposedly seen an ex-girlfriend last weekend when Luann was in the Hamptons with her former "Real Housewives of New York" co-star, Jill Zarin. The rumor was that he was trying to hook up with an ex-girlfriend after having texted her all night. When Luann was confronted with this rumor, she laughed and downplayed it. But something was happening behind closed Beadors as they have now filed for divorce.
Leaving the country
Many fans may be wondering what Luann de Lesseps is doing these days as she is coping with the aftermath of her failed marriage. Based on a new tweet, it sounds like fans spotted her at the airport getting on the flight to Switzerland.
Luann has spent a long time in Switzerland as she was married to a Count for many years.
Perhaps she just needs to go back to where she had spent so many years to get a sense of who she used to be. One can imagine she also has friends and family there to rely on as she works through this divorce.

What about her ‘RHONY’ co-stars?
She may not be relying on her "Real Housewives of New York" co-stars these days, as many of them had previously warned her about his cheating ways and had tried to tell her that he was bad news.
Despite reports that he wanted to make it work, it sounds like the marriage is done for good. Something must have happened suddenly as she filed for divorce, not separation.
Luann has revealed that she's doing well after the decision to file for divorce and that she's enjoying life to the fullest overseas. Perhaps she just needed some time away to deal with her emotions and to get back to who she was prior to getting married.
No word on whether her children went with her to possibly see their father.
