August 31t marks the 20Th Anniversary of Princess Diana's death. The anniversary has seen a wave of nostalgia being thrown around recently with TV documentaries and programs.

Recently British broadcaster channel 4 came under fire for releasing a documentary of hidden tapes that were filmed by Diana’s voice coach, Peter Settelen. The videos were recorded during a series of meetings at Kensington Palace, the tapes were made to improve her public speaking techniques.

These tapes saw the princess reveal much about her marriage to Prince Charles and the scandals surrounding their doomed marriage. Many saw the documentary in poor taste for exploiting her vulnerability, it was viewed as scrapping the barrel to gain viewers.

The channel was condemned for going ahead with the exploitable nature of the featured content, something the channel defended as being in the public’s interest.
