Can you imagine momager Kris Jenner laughing at the possible marriage of her daughter Kylie Jenner and her new beau, rapper Travis Scott? Well, she just did. The 61-year-old momager is known for being outspoken about her children’s lives, and that includes Kim Kardashian’s previous marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries. Just like her kids, she’s been also involved in several controversies including her ongoing feud with her ex-husband, now known as Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce). Recently, the momager was asked whether Kylizzle and her rapper boyfriend have her blessings once they decide to tie the knot soon.
The momager laughs about Kylizzle and Travis
According to TMZ, a paparazzi asked Kris Jenner during her date night with boyfriend Corey Gamble on August 17, if she takes Travis Scott as her son-in-law if Kylizzle decides to marry the rapper. The momager only laughed at the thought of her daughter marrying her new beau and thought that it’s “hilarious.” While it sounded off for the lip mogul especially for the rapper, it’s possible that she doesn’t agree with her daughter’s possible wedding bells because she just turned 20. Kylizzle is still young and getting married at this time might the last thing that her mom would think about.
Alright, so it sounds like Kris Jenner doesn’t want Kylie to get married anytime soon.
While it’s possible that the reason why she laughed at the idea that her daughter is still young to get married, fans were quick to speculate that she doesn’t like Travis. The momager tried to convince Kim Kardashian before not to marry her ex-husband Kris Humphries but she eventually did. Recently, Kim revealed this to the Hollywood Reporter, and she must have learned the lesson that mothers know best.
However, the Kardashians are known for being the focus of the spotlight and marrying one of the famous stars only makes sense.
Kris Jenner’s feud with Caitlyn Jenner
Kris Jenner married retired Olympian Bruce Jenner or Caitlyn in 1991 and shared two children together – Kendall and Kylie. However, they separated in 2013 and filed for divorce in 2014, citing irreconcilable differences.
Caitlyn, who already transitioned into being a woman in 2015, released her memoir titled “The Secrets of My Life” in April 2017. It includes her revelation that the momager was already aware of his gender identity crisis long before they got married.
As a result, Kris Jenner reacted to it and denied that she had known Caitlyn’s gender issue before. She said that she only knew about the retired Olympian’s use of hormones in the 80's but not the gender issue. Kim Kardashian also said that Caitlyn’s revelation is baseless and only created a bad impression on her mom.
