Katy Perry has been in a lot of interviews lately and in one of them, she talked about how she ended her feud with Calvin Harris. In another, she talked about the romance rumors surrounding her and Orlando Bloom for the second time around.
On Calvin Harris
The “Roar” singer has been in a public feud with Harris for years now but they were still able to make their professional relationship work for their first project. In the past, Harris and Perry had a war of words on Twitter after the DJ pulled out of the singer’s United Kingdom shows in 2011. And in 2016, Harris was dragged into the feud of Perry and his former girlfriend, “Blank Space” singer Taylor Swift.
Perry revealed during a call on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” earlier this week that she was approached by the 33-year-old Scottish DJ at a Vanity Fair Oscar party to ask her about working on a new song called “Feels.” The song was released earlier this month. Us Weekly reported that Perry shared she and Harris "just bumped into each other" and he told her he thinks he has a song for the singer so she should check it out. Perry instantly agreed because they have been trying to "work together" for years now.
Perry said the latest project with Harris was a way for them to forget the past acknowledging the fact that they did have some public Twitter exchange of words. She noted that she has put all those behind them so she went to the studio and he played a number of songs for her.
He then got to the song “Feels” and Perry revealed it was her favorite song off the new record of Harris.
Speaking of Swift, Perry also said in a recent interview that she wants to end the beef with the “Shake it Off” singer. However, she has not heard anything from Swift’s side yet.
On Orlando Bloom
As for the reports that Perry and Bloom are back together months after they ended their year-long relationship, Perry said that “people are in and out of your life.” According to E!
News, Perry also said that it is nice to keep the people you love around you.
Although Perry did not directly answer whether or not she and Bloom are together again, she noted that when people get older, “lines get blurred.” She added that she is really busy and will go on tour for another year. Reports claimed in the past that Perry and Bloom did not work out when they were first in a relationship because of their busy schedules.
Bloom and Perry were spotted at the Los Angeles concert of Ed Sheeran nearly two weeks ago and fans said they were holding hands, kissing, and hugging. According to other sources, they are not back together but they have been seeing each other more and more lately. The sources also said that they already "have history" so they are "open to seeing" what will happen in the future.
