Jennifer Garner has just proven that divorce could not break a family relationship that once was fused by marriage. The “Miracles from Heaven” actress remained close and sweet to her former mother-in-law Christina Ann Boldt. Garner and Ben Affleck’s mom were spotted in Brentwood laughing and walking with their arms around their necks.
Ben Affleck supports new girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus
While Christina was enjoying the company of Garner, her son Ben was dating his new girlfriend SNL producer Lindsay Hookus. They were spotted arriving to watch a 6:30 performance at the iO West Improv Theater in Hollywood on Monday.
After the show, they were seen having dinner at the Pizzeria Mozza.
The “Batman” director went along with his girlfriend to watch the show which is often the venue to scout for SNL talents. The brother or Casey Affleck was reportedly happy and relieved to be able to show-off his new girlfriend in public according to E! News. He used to be very private about his relationship with Lindsay because his divorce papers to separate from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner were not yet filed.
After personally filing for divorce and his wife filing her response in pro persona, the actor got the guts to show her in public. The couple represented themselves and did not hire lawyers to represent them so that the proceeding will remain private and to demonstrate the court that they had an amicable split.
After the filing, Affleck moved out from the compound where he lived in a separate house. Garner and his kids stayed in the compound after he left.

Garner and her former mother-in-law remain close as she focuses on co-parenting with Affleck. She has the custody of the kids, and he visits and spends time with them whenever he can.
The actress was not embarrassed when Ben flaunted his new lady in public as reported by AOL.
He cares for Shookus because she is witty and enjoys his company according to the 44-year-old actor. The “Good Will Hunting” star admitted that he is also enjoying her company. Affleck brings her along to his office in Santa Monica. The actor spent relaxing days with Shookus in Maine after his movie “Justice League” wrapped up.
While Ben Affleck is spending time with his lady love, Jennifer Garner enjoys her motherhood duties with Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. She also takes the time to bond with the grand mom of her kids.
