Power Couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé put an end to years of speculation that linked them to luxury homes in Westside Los Angeles. The power couple, Blue Ivy and the brand new twins are the proud owners of a new $90 million Bel-Air Mansion.

Power couple closed a $90 million real estate deal

According to the Los Angeles Times, reliable sources have confirmed that the famous rapper and entrepreneur and his pop superstar wife have inked the contract of purchase of a modern mansion in Bel-Air. The sale is not yet reflected in public records but sources suggest that the contract cost about $90 million.

Once filed in official records, the power couple’s brand new mansion deal will become the largest transaction in LA for 2017. The closed deal surpasses the $85 million sale of David Geffen’s Malibu compound. The whopping $90 million deal will come at par with the Owlwood deal last year, becoming the third most expensive transaction in the history of LA deals. But the couple could easily afford their new home after being named as the highest paid celebrity by Forbes.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s new mansion was developed by Irish billionaire Dean McKillen, the son of property investor and Irish billionaire Paddy McKillen. The property was never sold publicly but real estate sources report that the mansion’s asking price was $153 million. The grand mansion is the latest addition to the couple’s $1.16 billion combined net worth.
