By now, most people know that Beyoncé is expecting Twins very soon. She celebrated with some celebrities friends at a Baby shower on Saturday, May 20 in Beverly Hills. The baby shower was not just the usual one with women sitting around and playing baby-related games. The shower was held outside under a big tent with a seating area filled with patterned rugs and big orange pillows on the floor.

The event had a name. It was "Carter Push Party" because Carter is Jay Z's last name and will be the babies' last name. Some guests came dressed in colored, patterned dresses that represented the occasion.

Guests at party

Beyoncé, 35, celebrated with family members including her 47-year-old husband Jay-Z, their 5-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles Lawson. Friends who attended included pregnant tennis star Serena Williams, television personality La La Anthony as well as former Destiny's Child singers Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. They all are close to Beyoncé and wanted to be part of the gathering to wish her and her family well as they wait these last few weeks until the babies come.

Beyoncé's mom posted photos on social media about the evening that was fun-filled and enjoyed by all. There were images of the attendees enjoying themselves. Also, there were plenty pictures of the mother to be seen with a growing belly in a top and a flowing skirt until the 22-time Grammy winner walked around with her stomach covered with henna tattoos.

No details revealed

No details were revealed about the sex of the babies or what their names will be. Tina Lawson had said in a previous interview that she will be happy if the babies are healthy. The 63-year-old grandmother added that she has no idea if she is getting two grandsons, two granddaughters or one of each.

The expected due date has not been revealed either, but Beyoncé looks like the twins could be born in the next couple of weeks.

In the meantime, she and her husband are overseeing the renovation of their Holmby Hill rental house. It has been reported that the couple has also hired decorators for the twins' nurseries. Since the word "nurseries" is plural, it seems like each child will have its own nursery.

What has been revealed is that the musicians will raise their family in Los Angeles. That's where they are living now, and where Blue Ivy goes to pre-school. The family seems to be happy there and will be happier in just a few weeks when two more will be added to the Carter clan.
