More bad news for HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” After its US server was hacked last week leaking a script of the Season 7 script outline, now the network has to deal with the leak of its fourth episode entitled “The Spoils of War.”

The exciting fourth episode of “Game of Thrones’” penultimate season was reportedly hacked from an Indian server, according to Gadgets 360. The leaked episode has two watermarks on it, one bearing Star India and another marked “for internal viewing only.”

Upon inspection, the leaked “The Spoils of War” episode also carries in its opening info card the date July 20, confirming that it has been available in time to the premiere of the first “Game of Thrones” episode this season.

Star India has not commented on the leak as of press time.

Low resolution but confirmed to be genuine

The leaked “Game of Thrones” episode was made available online on various downloading and streaming platforms like torrent and Facebook with some links indicating that it will be taken down in a matter of hours. However, excited fans were quick to spread the links and make their own copies of the episode even though it was still in low-resolution format.

Tech experts have confirmed that even though it was in low resolution, the episode was genuine. This means that it will be the same one that is aired on August 6 in the US and August 7 in Asia.

Shortest episode

Based on the trailer of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 Episode 4, “Spoils of War” will most likely tackle Daenerys’ attack on Kings Landing or a known Lannister stronghold.

It can be recalled that the Mother of Dragons has become frustrated over losing two of her allies – Ellaria Sand of Dorne and Olenna Tyrell of High Garden in episodes 2 and 3 in the unexpected attacks from Cersei’s allies.

In the trailer, Daenerys mentioned that all her allies are gone, firmly stating: “Enough with the clever games,” pertaining to the battle strategies laid out for her by her advisers.

The trailer also shows Drogon in full fighting form, leading fans to believe that Daenerys may be using her dragons to attack.

While “The Spoils of War” promises to be one of the most exciting episodes of Season 7, it is also the shortest episode of “Game of Thrones” ever. The episode will clock in at 50 minutes, according to Screenrant. Episode 6 will make up for the short episode with 71 minutes of action packed battles while the final episode is expected to have a running time of 81 minutes.
