Eminem is, undoubtedly, one of the much-loved rappers today. He was considered as a national treasure throughout the past two decades, which explains why many fans are now excited for his upcoming new album.

Details about Eminem’s ninth studio album remain scarce up to this writing as the rap legend scrupulously maintains a low social profile. Now, recent rumors are hinting that the Detroit native could collaborate with Mariah Carey after the latter reportedly contacted the rapper’s camp to offer an apology.

Should fans expect an Eminem-Mariah collaboration?

Life & Style reported that Eminem and Mariah Carey have been fighting for 16 years. However, the 47-year-old American singer-songwriter decided to make peace with the rapper in 2013.

“She had her camp reach out to Eminem’s people in the hope that he would call her,” an unnamed source told Life & Style. “Only Mariah would say she wants to bury the hatchet with Eminem, then expect him to place the phone call,” the tipster went on.

The pair’s spat started in 2001 when the rapper refused to become a part of the diva’s “Charmbracelet” album. Eminem, then, confirmed that he had a relationship with Mariah Carey a year later.

Now that Mariah is reportedly willing to reconcile with her former beau, fans cannot help but speculate that the two could work together in the future.

There are even claims that Eminem might include Nick Cannon’s ex-ladylove in his imminent ninth studio album.

While these reports could be true, it should be noted that neither Eminem nor Mariah Carey has confirmed anything as of yet. Therefore, avid followers of the two artists should take these speculations lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Is rapper’s ninth studio album arriving this fall?

Meanwhile, XXL Mag previously claimed that Eminem’s forthcoming album might be released in the fourth quarter of 2017. Sources claimed that the rapper is set to launch his a set of new tracks along with Sam Smith and Taylor Swift.

Speculations even suggest that Eminem’s next album is star-studded as he will be singing with the likes of Adele, Dr.

Dre, Vince Staple, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, Mr. Porter, 50 Cents and Imagine Dragons. A leaked photo also indicated that the rapper is recording songs “Something has changed” with Kid Cudi, “Every Day” with Chance the Rapper, “Bullet Proof” with Mastein Bennett and “Success” with Adele.

Eminem has yet to confirm or deny these rumors. Stay tuned for the latest news and updates about the rapper's new album.
