Marshall Bruce Mathers III, known professionally as Eminem, is considered to be one of the most-loved rappers of his generation. In fact, avid fans of the legendary musician have been patiently waiting for his ninth studio album since teasing it last year.
No other concrete details about Eminem’s next album have been released. However, recent reports are claiming that the popular rapper is going to drop a song very soon.
Marshall Mathers collaborates with Pink
XXLMag reported that Eminem and Pink are working together again on a new track. According to the publication, the music stars will be releasing their yet-to-be-named single.
The news came almost seven years since Eminem and Pink first collaborated on the chart-topper song titled “Won’t Back Down” in 2010. The pair's first single together effortlessly entered the US Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at No. 62.
On his “Mojo in the Morning” show, Thomas Carballo revealed that Eminem is dropping a new single with Pink. However, the host said that iHeartMedia Senior Vice President of Programming Tony Travatto did not disclose the track’s official release date.
“[Tony] says that there is a new Eminem, Pink song coming out, that he said is unbelievable,” Carballo announced. “He said he got a chance to be one of the first to hear it and it’ll be coming out here very soon,” the host added.
Aside from Pink, Eminem is also rumored to be recording songs with several artists such as Adele, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Vince Staples, Mastein Bennet, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd among others. Superbass rapper Nicki Minaj also expressed her interest to work with the Detroit-rapper again.
“Of course I worked with Em on my first album, and of course I love Em...That would be nice, that would be beautiful,” Minaj confessed to HotNewHipHop when asked about the possibility of recording another track with Eminem.
She added that she loves and respects Mathers so much.
