The time for pulling prominent actors from the big screen onto the small screen is surely around the corner. It can be considered that it might have started when Matthew McConaughey took an Emmy nomination for "True Detective." Now, who knows what actresses Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman are fishing for after a great season of Big Little Lies?

‘Big Little Lies’ gets Season 2

"Big Little Lies," an HBO miniseries, is created by David E. Kelley and is adapted from a novel of the same name (Liane Moriarty). Due to its positive reviews from critics, the show might as well continue to release more episodes.

With the positive reviews, the miniseries might receive its green light for season 2 as most of the cast and crew are willing to explore further into the story. This is if the author, Liane Moriarty, will add more to the story of what will become of Celeste, Jane, and Madeline.

Big Little Lies” cast and creators are also expected to be constantly called upon during the Emmy Awards this year.

Aniston and Reese Witherspoon to reunite?

But actress Reese Witherspoon might appear in another TV show with a long-time friend, Jennifer Aniston. This sparked the interest of many people as Witherspoon once played Jill Green, Rachel Green’s whining sister, in 2 episodes of "Friends." After sharing that path, it seems like the two are planning to make more.

The TV show project is yet to be named but Jennifer Aniston might be creating a bigger character than her famed one. The project is reported to be led by Michael Ellenberg, who exited the Head of Drama seat in HBO, alongside Jay Carson, who is known for his supervising and producing work in the American TV drama "House of Cards."

This seems like a great comeback after the success of Aniston’s friends and husband.

Justin Theroux was also praised by critics for his work in the TV series "The Leftovers." The actor received his Critics’ Choice Television Awards nomination back in 2016 for his performance as Kevin Garvey Jr.

On the other hand, Aniston had her share of successes in films "We’re the Millers," "Cake," "Office Christmas Party," "Horrible Bosses" and its sequel.

She has appeared in some TV shows but it was not as prominent as playing Rachel Green.

This project, by the time it starts, will be considered to be Aniston’s big TV comeback. And with her friend, Reese Witherspoon, they might just make something memorable.

The project that includes Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon is still blurry when it comes to details but as soon as next year, it’s possible we will hear more and know its plot and setting.
