Every month, tons of new series and movies are released on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu.

The streaming giant reportedly surveyed 1,500 families in the United States to know how they found time to stream their favorite shows and movies, during the day. Their answers revealed some interesting facts. About 50% of the families said they sneak-binge while making lunch, 10% while walking the dog, and 40% while in their driveway. ‘13 Reasons Why’

13 Reasons Why” is one of the most successful American web television series to date.

The show is based on a 2007 novel of the same name by Jay Asher and adapted by Brian Yorkey for Netflix. The story revolved around two high school students, Hannah Baker and Clay Jensen, who faced a lot of problems in life. Hannah committed suicide after suffering a series of demoralizing circumstances brought on by some close friends. The cast included Dylan Minnette, Katherine Langford, Christian Navarro, Alisha Boe, Brandon Flynn, and Justin Prentice. Filming of the show took place in Northern California.

‘Horrible Histories’ – 2009 TV series

Horrible Histories” is a British comedy series, based on a book of the same name by Terry Deary. The show premiered on CBC from 2009 to 2013, with additional one-off seasonal and Olympic specials.

“Horrible Histories” is best known for its unique graphic style and content. Over the years, it has maintained the franchise's overall irreverent but accurate focus on the dark, gruesome aspects of British and other Western world histories, spanning from the Stone Age to the World War II era.

‘Orange Is the New Black’

“Orange is the New Black” is an acclaimed American drama developed by Jenji Kohan for Netflix.

The show is based on a novel of the same name by Piper Kerman. “Orange is the New Black” premiered on Netflix, on July 11, 2013. In February 2016, the streaming service renewed the show for four seasons. It is a joint project of Tilted Productions and Lionsgate Television. “Orange is the New Black” is Netflix's most-watched original series to date.

It received various accolades and critical acclaim – the show garnered twelve Primetime Emmy Award nominations in different categories. The story revolved around a young lady, Piper Chapman, who was sentenced to fifteen months in Litchfield Penitentiary. Chapman had been convicted of transporting suitcases full of money for her friend Alex Vause.
