TaylorSwift is no stranger to prying eyes and the flurry of paparazzi that follow her everywhere she goes. But at the end of the day, she is still human and wants some peace now and then. This is what Joe Alwyn's girlfriend was hoping for when she stepped out in New York City for the first time in almost two months. The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer tried to go incognito as she headed for a meeting in the Big Apple. Her plan was not 100% fool proof though, as several paps were still able to spot her.

The superstar has been keeping off the spotlight and headlines and has rarely been seen in the public for the past months. Her social media accounts have remained silent as well, leading fans to ask where she is. Thankfully, Taylor Swift has risen, and Swifties couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.

The 10-time Grammy Award winner was spotted in NYC over the weekend. However, it wasn't her usual dressed-to-impress, all smiles to the camera outing -- Swift chose to keep on the down low, apparently trying to dodge the paparazzi. She wore a blue hoodie, with the top over her head, seemingly covering her face. She patterned it with short shorts, white Gucci sneakers, and sunglasses.

She also carried a black backpack, going for the college girl style -- her whole look would've blended in the crowd if it weren't for her long flawless legs and the fact that she is Taylor Swift.

According to Daily Mail, the singer was attending a meeting in the city but tried to go incognito.

This is the first time Swift was seen in public since June 3, when she was spotted in Nashville having coffee and a nice little chat with her rumored boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. Due to her rough love life, it seems the "Blank Space" songstress has decided to lay off the public eye to keep her romance with the young actor private and possibly, more special.

While fans may have been suffering some TSwift-drought, they do respect the fact that Swift wants to keep this one to herself and Alwyn.

Together with her time off, the 27-year-old singer has kept off her social media accounts as well. The Taylor Swift Twitter and Instagram accounts have been silent for months. That is until July 13. Swift returned to Instagram to congratulate her BFF and girl squad member, Selena Gomez. Gomez, on her new song as well as to send out a pre-birthday greeting. Posting a cover image of Sel's single, "Fetish" featuring Gucci Mane, TS captioned "Sultry pop magic from this dreamy almost-birthday-girl."

The last three Instagram posts of Taylor Swift were all in support of her friends.

On May 4, the singer posted a screenshot of Haim's song, "Want You Back," noting she's been listening to it "On.Repeat.Til.The.End.Of.Time." She congratulated Lorde in March for her single "Green Light," calling it "a magnificent bop for the ages." Obviously, her time off from the limelight hasn't stopped her from being a great friend. You go, Taylor.
