Robert Pattinson says he is ‘engaged’ to FKA Twigs

Robert Pattinson opened up about his relationship with FKA Twigs during an interview with radio personality Howard Stern on July 25.

According to the “Good Time” actor, he is still in a relationship with his British girlfriend. When asked if they’re engaged, Robert told Stern: “Yes.” The couple announced their engagement in April 2015, but they stayed out of the spotlight for months. Finally, in May, Robert and FKA Twigs appeared together at the Cannes Film Festival, where Robert’s film “Good Time” received a standing ovation.

Actor pops the question after months of dating

“It’s one of the most frustrating things to keep my relationship under wraps because of my fans,” Robert told Stern. Multiple sources confirm to People that Robert Pattinson is officially engaged to FKA Twigs. They’ve had been spotted together a number of times, and the actor even addressed rumors about their breakup.

Is FKA Twigs his first girlfriend?

No, she is not. In 2008, Robert became romantically linked to Kristen Stewart. For several months, they did not confirm anything about this relationship, but paparazzi photographs drove intense media and fan speculation. Finally, in 2012, Robert took to his Twitter account to reveal that he was in love with Kristen.

The same year, US Weekly published photos of Kristen Stewart showing affection with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director, Rupert Sanders, with what the Variety called an “affair.” Later on, the actress issued a public apology to Robert in People Magazine saying, "I'm sorry Robert, you are still the most important person in my life.” After their separation, Esquire UK reported in September 2014 that Robert was seeing FKA Twigs.

They’re engaged for months, and multiple sources revealed that they may tie the knot by the end of this year.

His promise ring

Robert has given a promise ring to his girlfriend which resulted to wedding rumors. They are making no effort to hide this relationship, but the "Water Me" singer admits that dating Pattinson has placed her under the radar of paparazzi.

Still, she is happy to have Robert Pattinson in her life.
