A brand new image for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” has arrived online, bringing together Rose, Finn, and Rey. With only a couple months to go before the new “Star Wars” movie hits cinemas, fans are still in the dark about “The Last Jedi.”

Even Lucas Film did not hint at the main movie characters at the D23 Expo. Finally, on Saturday, July 22, the studio shed some light on things and released a new set of character posters to create excitement among fans. Not only did it give us a look at the technical side of the movie, but it featured some behind-the-scene clips for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”

Here’s a teaser poster for the film

Earlier this year, we learned a lot about the title of “Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.” Now, at Star Wars Celebration, we’ve got a new poster to go along with it.

The poster shows Rose (Kelly Marie Tran), Finn (John Boyega), and Rey (Daisy Ridley) in a weird mood.

A report by Inverse suggests that Rey is a sensitive scavenger from the planet Jakku. He joins the Resistance and tries to find Luke Skywalker. Finn, on the other hand, is a former stormtrooper of the First Order. Rose is one of the most active members of the Resistance group.

Prominent stars of the film

Other prominent cast members are Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio del Toro, and Laura Dern.

Most of the movie will reportedly feature Luke training with Rey. So far, fans have seen only a few shots of Craig in the first few trailers, but it’s clear that a battle is going to begin between Rey and Rebel.

Now we know that Rose is a part of the rebellion, which means she may interact with Rey, Poe, and Finn throughout the film.

However, there is no information about whether Rose is a positive character or a negative. We also have no idea of what type of interaction Rose may have with her mates.

The release date

As revealed on the official “Star Wars” social media account, the poster shows General Leia, Luke, Finn, Kylo Ren, Rey, Rose, and Poe. However, the most prominent characters are Finn, Rey, and Rose.

The film is directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Lucasfilm. Upon its release on December 15, 2017, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
