Marvel Studios stole the show at Comic-Con International on Sunday, July 23, with a thrilling highlight reel from “Avengers: Infinity War.”

The highlight reel looks back on the origin of the MCU with “Iron Man,” “Avengers,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Spider-Man” and “Doctor Strange.” The very next moment, it shows how Thanos (Josh Brolin) gives a tough competition to the leading heroes of "Avengers: Infinity War." The powers of Thanos are full on display in the footage, while Spider-Man upgrades his suit to fight Thanos in a better way.

Marvel reveals close-up looks at Thanos

At the D23 Expo on July 16, Disney gave us glimpses of Thanos' Black Order. A report by Comic Book shows that Black Order is a group of cosmic villains. They help Thanos in his fight against the heroes. The most prominent members of this group are Black Dwarf, Corvus Glave, Ebony Maw, Supergiant, and Proxima Midnight. This group is also named as Cull Obsidian -- it’s not easy for the heroes to defeat its members.

The cast members of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

A separate report by IGN reveals that Robert Downey Jr. plays Tony Stark, who is the leader of the “Avengers.” His character is described as a genius, hard-working, devoted, and brave.

Director Joe Russo said in a statement to IGN that Tony has a great sense of humor.

He has supernatural powers, and his aim is to keep the Earth safe.

Josh Brolin portrays Thanos. He is described as an intelligent despot who is fond of collecting the Infinity Stones. Screenplay writer Stephen McFeely noted that Thanos wants to defeat the superheroes.

His only mission is to dominate the universe with his extraordinary powers.

Mark Ruffalo plays an intelligent scientist, Bruce Banner, who gets transformed into a dangerous monster. Chris Evans portrays Steve Rogers, who is the leader of a group of Avengers.

Director Joe Russo hints that Steve may no longer go by Captain America in the movie. Instead, he will figure out how to defeat Thanos throughout the film.

Other cast members are Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, and Bradley Cooper.

Hulk as a major player in new ‘Avengers’ movies

Mark Ruffalo told Express UK that his character as Hulk is not going to happen in “Avengers 4.” It means "Avengers: Infinity War" is the last movie where Hulk is going to play a part.

Mark’s statement came after some reports revealed that Dr. Bruce Banner might get his feature film in future. “I want to make it clear that I won’t play Hulk in new movies,” Mark Ruffalo told the news outlet.

Avengers: Infinity War” is scheduled to be released in the United Kingdom on April 27, 2018.
