Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson won the heart of millions by their portrayal of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in "Twilight" saga. Their offscreen romance was highly publicized and many even speculated that their affair was the main reason behind the success of vampire-human romantic saga.

Ever since Kristen and Robert parted their ways in personal lives and moved on to better projects, fans are expecting to see them again in more mature roles.

Studio is open for more "Twilight" movies

Back in 2016, Lionsgate Studios co-chairman told Screen Daily that if the author of the series, Stephanie Meyer will come up with more story angles for already written characters then the studio has no problem in financing it.

That being said, Meyer told Variety in her earlier interview that the "Twilight" characters met their destiny at the end of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II" and she does not wish to carry forward the beautiful tale which she wrote almost a decade ago.

Kristen’s take on sharing screen with her ex-boyfriend

Kristen’s onscreen persona with Robert made her win many applauses in the past. However, when the news of her infidelity surfaced online, Robert decided to break his relationship with her and move on with his life.

Soon after their relationship ended, Robert started datings singer-dancer FKA Twigs and Kristen found herself in the spree of relationships.

During her interview with Uproxx, it was asked to her whether she would like to play the role of Bella Swan again if the studio will approach her.

The actress, who was recently spotted with Victoria Secret Model Stella Maxwell, told the media outlet that she is open to all the possibilities but she does not wish to jeopardize her personal space for a project.

Robert Pattinson wants a spin-off of Edward Cullen

During Robert’s interview with Yahoo, he was asked to share his take on the possibility of a "Twilight" reboot and if fans will ever get to see him play Cullen again.

He was also asked to comment on the possibility of expanding the "Twilight" universe just like other Hollywood superhero movies are doing these days.

The 30-year-old actor quipped the answer and humorously stated that he wishes a spin-off of Edward Cullen. He added that given the light of the massive fan following of the "Twilight" series, there is always a radical way of doing a spin-off featuring Edward’s story.

As of now, it is still not officially confirmed whether Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will reprise their individual roles in the possible "Twilight" movie. Based on their amazing onscreen chemistry and fan following, it would be interesting to see if Stephenie Meyer will ever come with another story of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.
