Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas had made their relationship Instagram official in January. The "Game of Thrones" actress was the first to feature the DNCE singer on her social media account by uploading a photo of her beau from their Miami trip. But before she could even confirm their romance online, the pair were spotted on several occasions since November 2016. Earlier reports claimed the two were introduced by a mutual friend.

Turner on relationship with beau

Although she feels "very happy" to have Jonas in her life, the "Game of Thrones" actress can still feel the downside of dating a co-celebrity.

Turner told Marie Claire that she feels she is "living in a fishbowl" which she finds frustrating. "It's frustrating [that] it's the most mundane things that make the news -- how boring," she told the mag.

Despite her rising popularity for playing as Sansa Stark in the HBO series, the 21-year-old actress would like to keep her relationship with Jonas a private matter. Although the pair has been making no effort to hide their romance from the public, Turner still considers their relationship "private" and expressed her desire to keep it that way.

The English actress also admitted that it is easier to date a co-celebrity who can fully understand her hectic schedules. “You realize that you’re not going to see each other all the time,” she explained.

When asked about their secret on how they are keeping the fire burning despite not seeing each other on a regular basis, the "Game of Thrones" alum confessed that their relationship is typical regardless of their celebrity status.

“I think the key is to remember that it's just like any other relationship and if you're in Hollywood or if you're in Africa, it's all the same.

Just love and be loved," she told ET Online.

What to expect from Sansa Stark?

The long wait for "Game of Thrones" season 7 is almost over as the HBO series is set to return on Sunday. In an interview with Variety ahead of the comeback, Turner said her character will try to figure out "who she really wants to trust and where her loyalties lie — and who’s loyal to her, too."

In the final moments of the previous season, Kit Harington's Jon Snow was declared the King of the North.

When asked about this development, the actress said her character, although happy for her half-brother, will feel like she hasn't been recognized for her effort to bring the Vale of Arryn to save Jon Snow and his army.

"[Jon Snow] has kind of shown that he appreciates her and will listen to her a lot more, but there is a little bit of frustration and hurt there — hurt that he didn’t say anything or hail her as Queen of the North," she explained.
