Echosmith released their new lead single “goodbye” from their upcoming album – Inside A Dream, and the song’s music video. The band also announced dates for their North American tour beginning on October 5 in Kansas City. The band will be joined by Banners in their fall tour.
Prior to the releasing of the album, the band has been using a hashtag on ‘goodbye’ on their posts on Twitter and Instagram, which already gave the band’s fans a clue of what’s to come.

Inside A Dream
The band’s second album Inside A Dream is set to be released on September 29.
Composed of 11 songs - the sophomore album marks a new beginning for Echosmith as a trio after Jamie Sierota left the band last year to focus on his family. Still in the band are his younger siblings, Sydney in vocals, Graham in drums and Noah in the bass and backing vocals – who was also recently married earlier this year.
"That literally forced us on a journey of having to discover this sound. We still had electric guitars, but they weren't the center of the music anymore" explained by Sydney.
The songs from the album will be showcasing a more matured and evolved sound. The album will feature more 80’s pop music style, which helped the band gain popularity, and mix it with some electronic elements.
The band compares their music to something that people would hear in Netflix’s “Stranger Things.”
Previous Works
Originally composed of the 4 Sierota siblings, the band released their debut album Talking Dreams in 2013. They gained popularity with the triple-platinum hit ‘Cool Kids’, platinum-certified ‘Bright’ and ‘Let’s Love’.
On June 2015, the band released Acoustic Dreams, which featured the acoustic versions of songs from Talking Dreams.
The band also covers some hits of other artists on their YouTube channel. Some of the songs the band covered are ‘Lights’ by Ellie Goulding, ‘I Will Wait’ by Mumford and Sons and ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ by Adele.
The band performed on the Vans Warped Tour in 2013 and again in 2014. The band toured U.S. and Canada as the opening act on Owl City’s Midsummer Station Tour in 2013. In 2015, the band headlined a tour across U.S., Europe and even in South East Asia.
Echosmith vocalist, Sydney has lent her vocals for the song ‘Illusion’ by Zedd from the True Colors album and has collaborated with The Goo Goo Dolls in the single ‘The Flood’ from their album Boxes. The band appeared as special guests on Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour in Philadelphia and where they performed ‘Cool Kids.’
