Most celebrity couples find it hard to stay together and lead a happy marriage due to factors attributed to hectic schedules, personal differences, and rumors. But for Channing and Jenna Dewan-Tatum, a long-lasting relationship can only be achieved by this one important element - communication.

In an interview with E! News, the "Magic Mike" actor said that there is not such thing as a secret to a happy marriage. When asked how he and his wife have maintained their romance after 12 years of being together, channing tatum revealed that it was their constant communication that has made their relationship stronger even after all these years.

"Just listen to each other—that's it. There's no magic recipe. Every two unique snowflakes that meet are going to have a different combination," he told the publication.

Channing and Jenna Dewan-Tatum's romance bloomed on the set of "Step Up" where they played a couple who fell in love on the dance floor. The two officially confirmed they were dating during the premiere of the 2006 film. Since then, the pair have made no effort to hide their relationship from the public.

After two years of dating, the "Step Up" duo announced their engagement and tied the knot in July 2009. Channing and Jenna-Dewan Tatum welcomed their first child, Everly, four years after their marriage. The professional dancer and actress reportedly gave birth to their daughter in London.

When asked if they are planning for another baby, he confessed that their four-year-old daughter is still not ready to have a younger sibling. "I don't think she wants—she's just like, "No." That means she would have to split mommy time," the actor said.

Tatums celebrate 8th year of marriage

Jenna Dewan-Tatum, on the other hand, shared how she and her husband celebrated their eighth Wedding Anniversary on July 11.

During her "Live with Kelly and Ryan" interview, the 36-year-old actress said they went out in the wilderness to celebrate the special day with their daughter.

"We found they had a wilderness camp for kids. They went camping, learning how to make smores, fishing, sailing. She played baseball with pinecones," she said as cited by PEOPLE.

The "Supergirl" star went on to talk about how romance started between her and Channing Tatum on the "Step Up" set. Jenna Dewan-Tatum admitted that she was "naive" when they first met for the pre-production of the movie. "We actually had an awkward screen test, so the fact that I got that movie must have been meant to be,” the actress recalled.
