Brad Pitt took some time off for a much-needed vacation after he and Angelina Jolie reached an agreement to handle their divorce in January. Earlier reports claimed the "Meet Joe Black" star went to Europe for "some soul-searching" after the unfortunate turn of events in his marriage with the actress.
But more than enjoying the European trip on his own, Pitt was reportedly allowed to make a quick visit to his children in London. A source told Hollywood Life that the reunion was personally permitted by Jolie before her estranged husband went back to the United States.
“Brad is back home now with a new perspective on his life, his career, and his place in the world. Brad is hopeful about his future now that he has returned stateside after the whirlwind trip that included several countries," an insider told the publication.
Brad and Angie's struggle to stay civil
The quick reunion between Pitt and his six children -- Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne -- came after the same outlet reported about the ex-couple's struggle to stay pleasant around each other after their separation. But regardless of their personal issues, the 53-year-old actor makes it a point to hang out with the kids at his own flat or even drive them around the streets of Los Angeles to show them his favorite architectures.
Aside from their regular bonding, the Hollywood A-lister also undergoes therapy sessions with them to help the kids cope up with their parents' break-up. "Brad has firmly but gently explained that no matter how much he loves their mother, they are not getting back together. He doesn’t want them to have any false hopes," an affiliate said.
Similarly, the father-of-six has reportedly started dating and was even linked to a couple of names in the wake of his divorce with Jolie.
Is Brad dating someone new after the split?
According to E! News, the Golden Globe Awards winner was rumored to have dated Sienna Miller in April. Reports claimed the actor-producer reportedly joined a production dinner of "The Lost City of Z" where the British-American actress starred as Nina Fawcett.
"I'm not going even to dignify it with a response. It's predictable and silly," Miller told Page Six when asked about her dating rumors with Pitt.
Rumor has it that the two reportedly had a secret meeting after Glastonbury festival in the United Kingdom. Pitt and Miller, however, refused to deny nor confirm these claims until now. Aside from the "Live By Night" actress, the "Fight Club" alum was also linked to Elle MacPherson who recently divorced her billionaire husband.
