Fans have been long waiting for the transformation of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) to become the criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. With the assumed death of his brother Chuck McGill (Michael McKean), this might be the right time that viewers are all waiting for.

The pain and betrayal the younger lawyer feels might pave the way for him to become the famous legal representative from the “Breaking Bad.” Hence, the much-awaited change of personality may soon happen in the coming Better call saulSeason 4.

The possible way of change

In spite of everything that happened between Jimmy McGill and Chuck McGill, the initial still tried his best to be a good brother.

He checked on him now and then. In fact, when Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) had an accident, he realized that he didn’t want to have bad blood with his sibling. Although he felt like Chuck hated him so much, at least he tried all that he can do to make their relationship work.

However, Jimmy didn’t know that Chuck’s condition was at its worst. And, the fire happened. Even though his presumed dead body is not yet seen, a lot believed that he is already deceased. And if ever he makes it out alive, he might be declared insane. Thus, everything that he owns will be given to his immediate family, and that is his younger brother.

He is the only family he got, so he is the only one who has the right to his properties.

According to Fan Sided, there is a big possibility that Jimmy will use everything that he will inherit from his older brother to be Saul Goodman.

McKean hints McGill’s transformation

Meanwhile, although the dead body of Chuck McGill is not yet seen, Michael McKean revealed that it is indeed the end of his character.

In an interview with Vulture, the 69-year-old star said that this was the end of his role’s chapter in Jimmy McGill’s life.

“It’s almost like the rock and a hard place,” he said. He explained that the two characters shouldn’t be too comfortable with each other for too long as his role will be no used if that happens.

If Chuck is going to stay longer, he will be cared and look after by Jimmy. Hence, there will be no reason for him to reveal his antagonist side and fix himself to be the best lawyer.

“It seemed like a logical step," he added.

Did Michael McKean just hint Jimmy’s transformation as Saul Goodman? The latter felt devastated when his older brother cut ties with him. His devastation will also be added with the shocking news of his death. Hence, everything that is happening to him now might lead him to make terrible decisions.
