Avengers: Infinity War” is making its rounds, and there are plenty of plots and relationships to ponder. But if there is one that deserves some attention, it would be that romance “Scarlett Witch/ Wanda Maximoff” and “The Vision” had in the comic book.

Scarlett Witch is played by Elizabeth Olsen while Paul Bettany portrays the Vision. As far as the movie rendition is concerned, both were last seen on “Captain America: Civil War” on opposing sides. That didn’t show much though eagle-eyes could easily spot that there is something different when the two converse.

Paparazzi photos mean nothing

Paparazzi photographers earn a living snapping away, mainly stolen shots. Apparently, there were some involving Olsen and Bettany appearing to be too close for comfort. While that could mean nothing, there are those who have associated that with a possible romantic angle.

Seeing that “Avengers: Infinity War” would force most to set their differences aside, it could be an opening to see the familiar romance on the big screen. If Olsen’s recent take is to be believed, that could be close to happening.

While it hardly comes as a surprise, the question now is to what degree. It could see closer ties but not necessarily lead to starting an actual relationship. It may tease at probably heading to such though not immediate.

Either way, Olsen is excited about the arc. It gives her and Bettany a new challenge – hoping to add a side plot to the madness in the world of Earth’s mightiest heroes. Could it end up both uniting and taking a side?

Breakout for Olsen

In the comics, both Scarlett Witch and The Vision were seen more as leaders than sidekicks.

So far, both have hardly gotten there with Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man/ Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) calling the shots for their respective sides.

Most may want to take note that the movie does not entirely follow what the comics tell. There could be some subplots, but that would be about it.

So rather than leaders, both could spark a flame familiar to Marvel comic book readers.

At least on that aspect, most would relive the familiar scene best known between the two mutants.

Other than that, the main task at hand is dealing with Thanos (Josh Brolin) and the Black Order. There are plenty of stars involved, some coming in after their respective solo starrers. That includes Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and the Guardians of the Galaxy cast led by Chris Patt and Zoe Saldana.

“Avengers: Infinity War” debuts on May 4, 2018, carrying a wide cast of stars (and heroes) that should turn out to be another Marvel -Walt Disney Studios blockbuster.
