In less than a year, the Avengers are finally assembling in the film "Avengers: Infinity War," except we are going to miss one character who will not be making her entrance yet. Yes, by “her,” we are referring to Captain Marvel herself.

The need of more female superheroes is intense these days after the success of one, who belongs on the other side of a superhero franchise, Wonder Woman. And if done right, Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel portrayed by Brie Larson will be on par with her. But let us focus on Marvel for now.

Brie Larson will not join ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ just yet

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding their list of superheroes and is trying fit them all in the "Avengers: Infinity War" film that is set to premiere less than a year from now. The film will be cut into two parts, Part 1 will be directed by the Russo Brothers.

Even though Brie Larson’s debut as a female superhero will not be in the 2018 movie yet, we cannot dispatch the idea that she won’t be present in the closing credits because, seriously, this is Marvel we’re talking about. If Stan Lee can cameo, maybe she would be too.

Before the "Infinity War," we will be catching up with Thor and Hulk in "Thor: Ragnarok" that will be released in October.

The movie is expected to be the “turning point” and why the Avengers will be called upon.

More ‘Captain Marvel’ spoilers

As for the 2018 movie, reports have emerged that the film will be longer than the previous ones. “The current cut is over two-and-a-half,“ Joe Russo stated, and that this cut is susceptible to change until the final release.

To add suspense, the director has teased fans and said, “I believe that everything has to have an end at some point in order for it to have value. The audience should be prepared.” Which is why many believe it would be the end of one or two major heroes.

Dedicated fans also have their own theories on what’s to come, comparing many similarities from the movie and the comics.

Especially after "Captain America: Civil War" promptly hinted some endings are coming to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But for now, rest assured that the members of the initial “Avengers movie (2012) will be making more appearances along with the extended family: the Guardians of the Galaxy, Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Vision, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man - and the list might still keep growing.

The new storyline of “Avengers: Infinity War” will see the team battling against Thanos, played by Josh Brolin.
