Donald Trump, the president of the United States, continues to battle with skeletons in his closet. This time it is the 50-year-old Mexican-born acclaimed actress Salma Hayek’s revelations that have put him in the spotlight and it is bad news. While promoting her upcoming film, “Beatriz at Dinner” on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Salma revealed juicy details of the time when President Trump asked her out.
When President Trump Met Salma Hayek
It all happened a few years back at an event where Salma Hayek was present with her boyfriend and Donald Trump happened to be there.
He walked over and took Salma by surprise by placing his jacket over her shoulders. She turned around in surprise and saw her boyfriends and Trump sharing pleasantries. She recalled him saying, “I’m sorry, your girlfriend, I saw she was cold.”
After befriending her boyfriend, Donald Trump invited the couple for dinner after the event. He also gave an open invitation to both to come visit him in New York and stay in his hotel, eventually, the conversation ended with Trump asking for their contact details. On the event night, they did not speak but a few days later Salma got a call from Donald Trump asking her out. Salma was flabbergasted with his audacity.

Donald Trump knew she had a boyfriend, in fact, he took both of their contacts at the event he met them together.
So he questioned Trump if he had forgotten that she already had a boyfriend. To which, the President allegedly responded saying,
"He's not good enough for you. He's not important, he's not big enough for you. You have to go out with me.” Needless to say, she refused his proposal.
The absurdity of the situation combined with the audacity of the Trump Towers, the billionaire ensured that the memory of this encounter stayed etched in her mind.
Years later, the same man who asked Salma Hayek to dump her boyfriend to date him became the 45th President of the United States.

Salma Hayek has been vocal in her criticism of Donald Trump since his campaign trail, she’s particularly against his immigration policies and most of her statements reflect the disdain she holds for President Trump.
She has also made statements to Daily News in past saying she wishes Melania Trump to have "bigger influence" on Trump.
There has not been any tweet from the president himself confirming or rejecting Salma Hayek’s alleged encounter with him. It is to be noted that Salma Hayek was quite vocal about her support for Hilary Clinton during the presidential election.
