On Sunday the 25th of June, sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian spoiled their daughters as they threw them a joint Moana-themed Birthday Party. Cousins North West and Penelope Disick were treated like princesses, and there appeared to be no end to the expenses spent to keep them happy. North turned 4 earlier this June and Penelope will be turning 5 this coming July.
Party actors were hired
Keeping with the popular Moana theme, Kim and Kourtney hired party actors for the birthday. The actors arrived as characters Maui and Moana. The actors committed to the characters making sure to include such details as Maui's tattoos and Moana's stylish black waves.
Guests took inspiration from the Moana-themed party and arrived in a variety of outfits. The girls and their friends were dressed in Hawaiian-inspired outfits, the inspiration for which was taken from the Disney movie. Many of the guests wore swimsuits, flower leis, flower crowns and long skirts.
The party actors were not the only expense of the party. North and Penelope were also treated to dancers and a petting zoo. The Kardashians are known for going all out for their parties, and it appears that the kids' birthdays are no exception.
The Kardashian shared the party's events on social media
Fans have been busy swiping through the photographs and snap chats from the adorable birthday party. Kourtney, Khloe and family friends Larsa Pippen and Daphne Joy shared the festivities on SnapChat for the public to enjoy.
Kourtney posted a photo of her daughter Penelope posing with a friend. She commented "Happy Birthday P!!! Love u so much". Daphne Joy shared images of North wearing a flower crown, and Kim posted pictures of her beloved children to various social media outlets.
The photos show the Moana party actors in a cute picture surrounded by the kids.
The children are clearly enraptured by the real-life versions of the Disney characters. Both North and Penelope got a three tier cake each. Pictures of the adult guests enjoying an inflatable surfboard set up were also posted to social media.
The joint birthday party was thrown in the Kardashian's back garden. The sun was shining as the guests and hosts enjoyed the party.
Scott Disick was not seen at his daughter's birthday, and one has to wonder whether or not he received an invitation. Caitlyn Jenner was not seen in attendance either. Nevertheless, the birthday party was a success, and North and Penelope are sure to remember it.
