Is "Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans trying to get in touch with her biological father, Robert Evans? Sources have told Hollywood Life that Jenelle has attempted to get in contact with Robert, whom she hasn't seen at all since the time he abandoned their family when she was a little girl. The insider claims that Evans suffers from "serious abandonment" issues because of her father and had decided that she would like to talk to him on the phone, but has not been able to do so just yet.
An Evans family reunion coming?
The source went on to reveal that Jenelle Evans has decided to reach out to her father at this time because she is in such a good place in her life.
The "Teen Mom 2" star is clean and sober, she has three children, and she's engaged. So, she wants to "tackle" the remaining issues in her life, and her relationship with her father is one of those things. Jenelle reportedly wants answers about why Robert Evans left his family so abruptly. Jenelle is said to know that her mother and father were having issues but is confused about why he would cut his children out of his life as well as Barbara.
Meanwhile, a rep for Jenelle Evans says that the report is not true, and that the "Teen Mom 2" star is not trying to get in contact with her father, Robert Evans, and that she is not interested in doing so at this point in her life. However, Jenelle's dad must be on her mind.
Evans recently wrote a book titled "Read Between The Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom," which reveals Jenelle's personal journal entries from when she was a child and details the ups and downs of her life. In the book, Evans reveals details about her father leaving and her rocky relationship with her mother. Jenelle even opens up about her heroine use, revealing that she was shooting up "four or five times a day." The book is set to be released on July 25.
