Lucasfilm has been tightlipped about the details of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” In fact, information fans get regarding the movie is just from tie-in promotions, theories, and leaks. But, teasers regarding the coming of the “Praetorian Guards” of Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) are now emerging.
Aside from that, a new image of Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) friend or foe creature has been revealed. It seems that the possibilities of what will happen in the film are endless. There is even leaked footage from the gameplay of “Star Wars: Battlefront 2” that revealed Rey (Daisy Ridley) holding a new lightsaber.
Rey’s new lightsaber
Rey’s new lightsaber in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” looks like the green sword Luke Skywalker made for himself in “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.”
The blade looks different from the lightsaber she brought the Jedi Knight at the end of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” To recall, she was carrying a blue weapon when he met him on the planet of Ahch-To. Hence, there are strong rumors that she will be creating her own lightsaber with her new master’s help.
A new creature
Moreover, Star Wars News Net revealed a new photo of the sea creature on Ahch-To drawn by the artist Eli Hyder.
It is not surprising to see different alien-like beings in the movie franchise and this one is just like the others.
It is a huge, white monster with tentacles on its mouth, arms, and feet. It has not yet been revealed whether this one is a friend or foe or something Rey and Luke Skywalker have to face.
Two new characters emerged
Meanwhile, a lot has been said about Supreme Leader Snoke’s Praetorian Guards, but Disney and Lucasfilm are still 'mum' about it.
Now, a new packaging of an energy drink called “Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Space Punch - Galactic Vitamin Drink” gives a glimpse of what these guards will look like. It has four different designs, featuring four different characters. Two of the four are BB-8 and Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) while the other two hint at the coming of the two new characters.
The first one is said to be a Praetorian Guard as it looks similar to the description that "Making Star Wars" revealed. It has a red helmet and the same-color scaly arm cover with a medieval appearance. The other character is said to be a member of the Knights Of Ren. It has been said that the origin of Kylo Ren's (Adam Driver) men might be featured in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
However, fans should only take these assumptions with a grain of salt as Lucasfilm and Disney have yet to confirm these theories.
