Selena Gomez celebrates Gay Pride Month
According to Selena Gomez, the LGBTQ community and its people had an impact on her life since she was a young girl. The "It Ain't Me" singer unveiled that her mom used to invite her gay friends over for brunch on Sundays.
Gomez revealed that she was not aware at that time that her mother surrounded her with gay people. But, she stated that she just felt happy, loved and enjoyed the moments she shared with her mom's gay friends. She even thanked her mother for raising her in an open-minded and non-judgemental environment.
The "Love You Like A Love Song" singer even revealed that her mother surprised her for her Sweet 16 birthday with a performance from a drag queen. Gomez even stated that she was very happy about the experience since not every girl gets the same gift at all. Gomez even spoke up about the "bathroom bill" that was filed in North Carolina. She protested against the bill and revealed that she believes every person should be treated equally.
She hopes that there will a positive change in the world with the help of the LGBTQ.
Gomez denies collaboration with The Weeknd
Speculations have been making rounds that Gomez and The Weeknd are working on a collaboration. According to a report from Radio.com, Gomez denied the rumors that she is working on a new music with The Weeknd.
Gomez stated 103.3 AMP Radio’s during her interview on "The TJ Show" that they are not working on a new song together. The singer recently released two records as a solo music artist, including the hit album, “Revival” two years ago. Recently, she released the songs “It Ain’t Me” and “Bad Liar.

Los Angeles Times unveiled that Gomez has finally brought a new home in Los Angeles.
She paid a total of $2.25 million for her new home, which is a Colonial-inspired mansion in Studio City. The home is reportedly built back in 1951 and was renovated. It is a one story home with hedges and gates. It stands on a 3,200-square-foot lot with a fireplace, vaulted ceilings, swimming pool, a library and a country-style kitchen. Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have been dating for months and they continue to share the milestones of their relationship on social media.
