Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe recently admitted that they experienced a hard time filming intimate scenes for "Outlander" Season 3. Heughan revealed that even though he is already comfortable working with Balfe, working on their intimate scenes had always been hard for him.
According to a recent report by The Inquisitr, the "Outlander" Season 3 on-screen couple, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe found it difficult to shoot their intimate scenes. Heughan narrated how they find it awkward to shoot their bed scenes compared to working on their dramatic sequences in the hit Starz series.

The publication also revealed that Sam Heughan has always loved doing dramatic sequences with Caitriona Balfe. The Scottish actor even stated that they are always excited and challenged to create tear-jerker episodes.
The opposite of that is the intimate scenes are always very difficult," the "First Light" actors says, "just technically difficult."
Insiders claimed that "The Spy Who Dumped Me" actor has been finding it hard to film the intimate segments with Balfe because he is already in love with the actress in real life. Although Hueghan and Balfe have always stated that they are just friends and that they cannot be in a relationship, many fans still believe that they are just hiding their relationship from the public.
No truth to Balfe and Heughan dating
There is no doubt that Heughan and Balfe are very close to each other, which could be one of the reasons why they are comfortable around each other. Perhaps, their closeness is also why shippers do not stop linking them from each other.
Meanwhile, it has been recently reported that Heughan and Balfe have already completed filming their scenes for "Outlander" Season 3.
The on-screen couple even promised their viewers that they will deliver a lot of love scenes in the new season of the Starz series, as it is one of the fans' requests.
"Outlander" Season 3 will be starting where it ended in Season 2. Balfe will be back in 1948, while Heughan will be left alone. However, the two will reportedly stand the test of time, as they are ought to meet again in the third instalment.
