Kit Harington accepted James Corden's invitation to grace the special episode of his "Late Late Show" on Tuesday. The "Game of Thrones" actor was joined by Nicole Kidman in the studio, while Ed Sheeran was featured on the segment "Carpool Karaoke."
'Are you getting married?'
During his guest appearance, Harington candidly opened up about his girlfriend, Rose Leslie, who is currently living in his flat. The British actor admitted he is "happy" with how things are going on after his partner has moved in. He even assured Rose that she can treat his house like it's her own.
(Awww! Jon Snow surely knows something!)
Harington also encouraged Leslie to redecorate the house whenever she wants to. But when he returned and asked his girlfriend what she would like to change, the actress shamelessly said she would like to move their kitchen downstairs. After prompting laughter from the audience, the fan-favorite "Game of Thrones" star was asked by Kidman if they are already planning to get married anytime soon.
Surprised by the sudden interrogation, Harington's face turned red which was an obvious indication that the actor was flabbergasted by the topic. Kidman continued to tease the actor and suggested that they should get engaged now that they are living under the same roof.
"Oh, wow!" Harington exclaimed. "I'm being put on the spot by Nicole Kidman."
After keeping everyone on the set waiting, the "Game of Thrones" star admitted he and Leslie are taking it "step by step," leaving the audience disappointed (well, sort of).
'You know nothing Jon Snow!'
Harington and Leslie first met on the set of "Game of Thrones," where they played the roles of Jon Snow and Ygritte, respectively.
In fact, Leslie's character was the author of the infamous "Game of Thrones" dialogue, "You know nothing Jon Snow."
The two sparked dating rumors after they were spotted on a dinner date back in August 2012. In the midst of their alleged romance, the actor clarified his co-star is just a good friend. "You know you are going to get on with someone when you share their same sense of humor," Harington explained.
"So we just laughed as much as we could and actually had a great time."
After a couple of years of denying and insisting that there is nothing going on between them aside from being just friends, the couple were spotted getting cozy in public last year. They made their relationship "red carpet official" at the 2016 Olivier Awards.
