Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are seemingly about to become parents again. The couple has hired a surrogate to carry their third child. According to People Magazine, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star can not carry another child herself as it is much too dangerous for her body. Her two pregnancies with daughter North and son Saint were both high risk, and Kim's doctors told her it would be a bad idea for her to get pregnant again.

Kimye baby number three

However, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning to expand their family and give North and Saint biological siblings by using a surrogate mother, who will be implanted with embryos and hopefully carry the famous couple's child after becoming pregnant with their baby.

In the past, Kim has asked her younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, to be her surrogate. However, Khloe may want to have a child of her own in the very near future. Khloe's relationship with her NBA boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, is heating up, and the reality TV star has already confirmed that couple has been talking about having a family together.

Breaking down the surrogate's pay and responsibilities

TMZ reports that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are spending a fortune for a surrogate. The couple is reportedly required to deposit over $68K with the surrogate agency and pay the surrogate $45K in ten monthly installments of $4,500. If the surrogate were to get pregnant with multiples, she would get $5K for each additional child, and if the surrogate were to lose a reproductive organ, she would get another $4K.

Of course, there are strict rules for being a surrogate mother, especially for a celebrity couple. The women carrying Kim and Kanye's baby must refrain from smoking, drinking, and drug use during the pregnancy. She has also agreed to restrict sexual activity in the weeks that will lead up to implantation of the embryos and forego any sexual intercourse for at least three weeks following the implantation.

In addition, the surrogate will not be allowed to get into a hot tub or sauna, handle or change cat litter, dye her hair, eat raw fish, or drink more than one caffeinated drink per day. The agreement also reportedly reveals that Kardashian and West will "assume the legal and parental responsibilities" for any child that may have any congenital or abnormal defects.

There is no word yet on when the surrogate will be getting implanted with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's embryos, but it seems that the famous duo could have another child in their arms in the very near future.
