The plot will follow teenagers gamer Spencer, football jock Fridge, wallflower Martha and former popular girl Bethany. As the teens get sucked into the game Jumanji they turn into adults and assume new identities.

They take on roles which are useful in the dangerous game.

However, with their new identities as an explorer, an Amazonian warrior, a genius and a professor the odds are in their favor. The teenagers must learn to work together in order to beat the game.
