The May 22nd suicide bombing
A man identified as Salman Abedi detonated a bomb on May 22 outside the venue of Ariana's concert, claiming the lives of concert-goers and their families picking up their children. Ariana was reportedly in shock and flew straight back to the US. She also announced the cancellation of her "Dangerous Woman" world tour.
“Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words," Grande wrote on Twitter after the incident.
