There's no bad blood between them after all. Following reports that singer Fergie has left the Black Eyed Peas, band member Will.i.am has taken to Twitter to clarify that she hasn't left the group. Last week, news broke out that drama was brewing amongst the members of the hip hop group, thanks to a Buzzfeed article that was written about how Fergie parted ways with the record label Interscope, to create her own label called Dutchess Music, under BMG. Meanwhile, the remaining members of the group, Will.i.am, Taboo, and Apl.de.ap, are still signed to Interscope.

Fans were left scratching their heads when Taboo unfollowed Fergie on Twitter and tweeted a photo of the group without Fergie.

Will.i.am clarifies rumors about Fergie's departure

Will.i.am has finally spoken out on the issue, taking to Twitter to call the rumors "lies" and that Fergie is just currently busy making her second solo record titled "Double Dutchess" while the Black Eyed Peas are also working on their own new record, "Masters of the Sun." Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap, and Taboo are expected to perform in tomorrow's One Love Manchester concert, without Fergie.

Fergie's spokesperson releases official statement

Fergie and the original members of the Black Eyed Peas have expressed their mutual respect for each other, with the former releasing a statement via her spokesperson.

In it, she clarifies that she's still in the band and that she has "an enormous amount of love for her brothers." In fact, she has collaborated with her bandmates for her solo effort, as revealed by Will.i.am, Billboard reported. He said, "We worked on a bunch of songs on her solo record, we’re proud that she has her label."

Nicole Scherzinger possibly replacing Fergie

Former Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger has been linked to the "Where is the Love" band lately, as she has been a recent collaborator for the band.

According to Perez Hilton, the 38-year old singer is involved with the band's new music, but they refused to reveal just how big of a role she will be playing. Last year, Scherzinger lent her voice to Disney's "Moana," and this year, she co-starred in the "Dirty Dancing" remake that aired on ABC late last month. This month, she's set to perform during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix at the Baku City Circuit on June 24, which also happens to feature the remaining three members of the Black Eyed Peas as guests.

Does this mean that Nicole Scherzinger might be taking over Fergie's spot with the group temporarily?
