Former daytime television actor Corey Seth Sligh has been indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of child molestation.

Corey Sligh faces 20-year prison sentence

As previously reported, the TV actor was arrested in Georgia last October after police reports were filed by the parents of a ten-year-old girl who claimed that Corey had been sexually molesting her for several months. This is Sligh's second accusation of child molestation, so it is expected that the judge will not be lenient.

Second girl comes forward accusing Sligh of assault

Corey was arrested on October 14th and taken to the local jail -- he was released several hours later after posting a $22,000 bond.

Following his release, Sligh spoke with celebrity news site TMZ, telling them he was innocent and was planning to fight the accusations. Earlier today the grand jury handed down the indictment, revealing that Corey Sligh would be expected in court for his arraignment in July.

The celebrity news site reports that documents obtained by the site reveal the ugly details as described by the young victim. The little girl alleges that Corey forced her to touch him in inappropriate ways. If convicted, Corey Sligh could face up to 20 years in prison.

Sligh has virtually stayed out of the public eye since his arrest last October. According to Gossip Cop, Sligh has not been working much. Most employers tend to steer clear of alleged sex offenders as a precautionary measure.

The list of celebrity sex offenders continues to grow. Sligh is now listed on the sexual predator list with well-known names such as Jared Fogle, the former Subway spokesperson, Mark Salling of "Glee," and YouTube star Austin Jones.

The "Days" actor last made media headlines in 2014 on Thanksgiving evening when he and girlfriend Alisa Berhorst were delivering Thanksgiving dinner to a close friend.

While in a parking lot, Corey was nearly hit by a car. The drivers were driving erratically and doing donuts in the Rite Aid parking lot. Sligh, yelling angrily at the drivers to slow down, was noticed by the two men, who exited their car and beat the actor up. Corey suffered a broken arm, along with some cuts and bruises.

Despite previously stating his innocence at this time, Corey Sligh -- nor his team of representatives -- are responding to requests for comment from the media. Sligh is set to face the judge in July, and according to the evidence, things are not looking good for the actor at this time.
