"Days Of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that there is a major cast overhaul coming. The show has a new head writer, and with that comes some fresh faces, and out goes some old favorites. It seems that Salem may look a bit different in the near future, and fans are excited about the possibilities of some fresh blood hitting the streets, but who's coming and who is saying goodbye?
Which 'DOOL' characters are saying goodbye?
According to Soap Hub, actor Vincent Irizarry has been let go from "Days of our Lives" and his character, Deimos Kiriais, is set to leave the show very soon.
In fact, it's highly anticipated! Deimos is likely being killed off, and his death will kick off a major murder mystery plot that will have everyone talking about who done it. Jason 47, a well known "DOOL" blogger and spoiler reveals that multiple cast members will be departing in the coming months, but has yet to reveal which ones will be leaving.
While viewers know that fan favorite actress Arianne Zucker, who plays Nicole Walker on the show, is leaving before the end of the year, fans are a bit worried that more of their favorite characters will be saying goodbye as well. Rumors are flying that after Jade's finishes her storyline and likely outs Joey as the one who killed Tripp's mother Ava, she'll likely be long gone, and that Dario may also be leaving "Days of our Lives" in the near future after his storyline with Abigail and their fake marriage wraps up.
Of course, fans want to see Abigail and Chad back together, and are hoping that the new writer Ron Carliati will make that happen.
New and old faces are returning to Salem very soon
In addition, some new/old faces will be returning to Salem. As fans know Chandler Massey has been confirmed to be returning to the role of Will Horton.
Although Will was killed by Ben Weston, the necktie killer, Massey promises that the episodes that bring him back to "Days of our Lives" are going to be amazing. Recently, the actor tweeted that Ron Carliati's scripts were on fire, and that he couldn't wait for fans to see them play out. Remember, Alison Sweeney will also be making a 2-month appearance on the soap as Sami Brady to help usher in Will's return!
Meanwhile, actress Morgan Fairchild will be joining the cast in the role of Anjelica Deveraux. Although Angelica isn't knew to Salem, Morgan Fairchild is, and fans are excited about the iconic actress joining the cast.
Rumors are also flying that EJ DiMera will be headed back to Salem as well, and that it may happen while Sami Brady is in town. Although actor James Scott isn't likely to reprise his role, the character is likely to be recast and return to Salem in an interesting and shocking new storyline. It seems "Days of our Lives" fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months.
