Fans should now have a reason to celebrate as there are reports that Candice King might be present in “The Originals.” In a recent interview with Julie Plec, the show creator accidentally revealed that “The Vampire Diaries” actress could be joining the cast of “The Original.” What could happen in the drama series?

Caroline moves to 'The Originals'

As per Mic, Julie Plec told that Hope Mikaelson would be finding a way to enter the Mystic Falls in “The Originals” Season 4 finale. As she stated: "Alaric and Caroline are running the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted where Hope Mikael — sh*t never mind.

It was remembered that “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 ended with the death of Stefan (Paul Wesley) and the survival of his wife, Caroline. Also, it was told that the finale episode of the show ended with Caroline and her ex-fiancé Alaric (Matthew Davis) starting the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted.

New beginning expected?

Not just that, the last episode also showed Klaus giving a massive donation from Caroline. The said donation includes a note that states the belief of the former to see the latter really soon. From there, a voiceover was heard that teases a “new beginning.” With that, it is speculated that Candice King might be transferring from her past drama series to “The Originals.”

Julie Plec finally speaks up

In with the allegations and speculations built after the finale, Plec finally gave a meaningful statement to all the viewers.

The creator admitted that nothing is ever certain with regards to that matter. She also revealed that “The Originals” Season 5 might not be probable soon. However, she confirmed that doors were still open and that fans could hope for greater things in the future.

Just recently, “The Originals” were reportedly renewed for another season, and it seems like fans are right as the said crossover could happen really.
