Hollywood's A-list couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z have turned their mansion into a private maternity ward for the birth of their twins.
Details about the delivery
According to "Daily Mail," the richest celebrity couple around the world, who got married on April 4, 2008, will not be using the facilities of a traditional hospital for the birth of their twins who are due anytime soon. It was further revealed that for the purpose of home birth, all the necessary medical equipment which includes ‘an entire professional neonatal wing’ and incubators had been transported to the couple's lavish rented property.
How are the couple converting their mansion into a maternity ward
Over the past few days, several vans with high-tech kits and apparatus have also been observed to arrive at the couple's mansion. It has been reported that Beyoncé's due date is almost here, however, the 35-year-old singer has not once confirmed her expected delivery date.
According to one of their neighbors: "It is all about privacy and safety. It’s not usual for someone expecting twins to have them at home" the source further added that just in case an ambulance would also be ready to take the singer to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in case she or the twins require hospital care.
It is the same hospital where Victoria Beckham, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz and Pink delivered their babies.
Recently 47-year-old Jay-Z has been seen coming in and out of the house, but Beyoncé herself has been keeping a low profile. Different food deliveries and services vans were also seen around the couple's property.
Controversy at the time of Blue Ivy's birth
The couple probably decided to make this move of giving birth in their house after the experience with their first child, daughter Blue Ivy who was born on January 7th, 2012 at New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital.
Although welcoming their first baby together was supposed to be their happiest time. However, the couple was surrounded by a lot of controversy as other patients at the hospital took their complaints to the media claiming that the Hollywood couple had been needlessly ‘heavy-handed’ and obstructed their visitors.
The hospital, however, claimed that no complaints had been recorded and also shunned the reports that Beyoncé and Jay-Z had rented out an entire hospital floor for $1 million.
Beyoncé and jay z, who have a combined worth of $1.16 billion, announced in February this year that they are expecting twins after the "Lemonade" singer told her 103 million followers on Instagram that they "have been blessed two times over." Since her pregnancy announcement, Beyoncé has posted several photos flaunting her growing belly.
