No more “Paradise?” TMZ just announced that “ Bachelor In Paradise,” the popular spinoff to “The Bachelor” and The Bachelorette has suspended production. The show was set to air August 8th after Rachel Lindsay’s “Bachelorette” season ended. Several of her former suitors were rumored to make an appearance on the show.

What happened?

According to TMZ and several other news sources, production halted because of allegations of misconduct. Show executives did not give specifics of what happened, but they are conducting a full investigation. Warner Brothers released a statement to the media saying that once the investigation is complete, they will take appropriate action.

No further information was released as to what happened.

What will happen next?

There is no word yet as to whether or not the show will continue shooting or even air at all. As of right now, it looks as if several contestants already in Mexico were sent home. Several sources, including Us Weekly, reported seeing several participants at the airport posing with fans and posting on their social media accounts. The latter is strictly forbidden unless the contestants have already been eliminated.

This season was set to reunite several stars from past seasons of both shows. Names that popped up included Raven Gates, Amanda Stanton, Corrine Olympios, Derek Peth and DeMario Jackson. The season also was said to add a new twist where several of the contestants were in relationships back home.

The way it was

The show, which was going to air its fourth season, featured several show alumni, including Tenley Molzhan, Josh Murray, Evan Bass and resident "Bachelorette" bad boy Chad Johnson. While the show had its share of drama and tears (as well as lots of interaction with animals and moaning over pizza), it also brought together several couples and resulted in several engagements and weddings.

Last season, fans saw fan favorites Jade and Tanner exchange vows, while three couples--Lace and Grant, Amanda and Josh and Carly and Evan--got engaged. While Lace and Grant and Amanda and Josh opted to go their sports ways after the show aired, Carly and Evan stayed together and are planning to marry this summer. Rumor has it that they planned to marry in "Paradise" and that it would air at some point during the season. However, since the season is on hold, there is no word as to whether or not this will have an effect on their wedding plans.
