Be careful: potential spoilers on "Game of Thrones" season 7 will follow! Since we are almost sure that the creepy hand reaching through a door in the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 trailer is Jorah's, it's time to discuss where the knight is quarantined and what is going to happen to him in the next season of the show.
TalkingThrones discovered a new detail in a set photo
TalkingThrones recently posted a very interesting picture on Twitter involving Jorah and Samwell:

As you can see from the picture, a detail in the new set photo featuring Samwell Tarly apparently confirms a well-known theory: we will see Jorah Mormont quarantined in a cell beneath The Citadel.
That implies that Jorah's life (since Mormont is still affected by the greyscale) will be in the hands of the big-hearted Sam.
Why this theory looks pretty solid
Along with the details underlined by these pictures, the theory looks solid: The Citadel is the greatest place of culture in Westeros; a really good place for Jorah to search for a cure for his greyscale. Moreover, we should remember that Samwell knew Jorah's father, the man who led The Night Watch until Rast murdered him at Craster's Keep. Considering that Samwell eventually grows attached to Lord Commander Mormont, this is another good reason for him to help Jorah.
We should also remember that we already knew someone who survived greyscale: Stannis' daughter Shireen.
We know very little about the girl's sickness and recovery, but Stannis mentioned that Maesters were called upon to help Shireen, along with healers and apothecaries, which apparently confirms that a cure for the greyscale can be found at The Citadel.
About the greyscale
Jorah was infected with the disease after being touched by a stone man near the ruins of Valyria.
The greyscale is also known as "Prince Garin's curse." According to the legend, Prince Garin went to war against Volantis and Valyria in the Second Spice War. He was captured and hung in a cage from which he called down a curse against his enemies, praying for Mother Rhoyne to avenge his people. Shortly after, the Rhoyne flooded and a fog fell over the river, and the Valyrian soldiers began to suffer from greyscale.
According to what we know from the TV show, Shireen contracted greyscale from an infected wooden doll that her father bought from a merchant ship from Dorne.
In the "A Song of Ice and Fire book series," we're never told how she became infected.
Don't forget: "Game of Thrones" season 7 will premiere this summer on July 16.
