Netflix has officially released its May lineup, and “twin peaks,” “house of cards,” and “Master of None” are the most prominent shows.
With the passage of time, the streaming giant has started developing original content. Some big-budget series will also be aired this month, including "House of Cards," "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," "In the Shadow of Iris," “Heritage Falls,” and "The Day After Tomorrow." We can easily assume that the month of May will bring a lot of exciting television shows for Netflix fans.
‘Twin Peaks’
“Twin Peaks” is a modern American drama developed by David Lynch and produced by Mark Frost. It was first premiered in April 1990, on ABC, and is returning to Netflix this month. The story revolves around an FBI agent, Dale (Kyle MacLachlan), who is investigating the murder of Palmer (Sheryl Lee) in Los Angeles.
‘House of Cards’ – the US television series
“House of Cards” is one of the most popular American dramas. It has been developed by Beau Willimon and inspired from a novel of the same name by Michael Dobbs. The first season consisted of 13 episodes, and premiered in February 2013, on Netflix.
‘Master of None’
“Master of None” is another series to premiere on Netflix this month. This American comedy-drama is developed by Alan Yang and features Aziz Ansari in the leading character. The first season consisted of 10 episodes and received positive reviews from critics. In March 2017, Netflix announced that the new season is in the works, and will premiere in the second week of May.
