Yesterday, we got a brand new clip for “The Mummy” that gives us many reasons to forget about other horror films. First of all, “The Mummy” is an anticipated film as Sofia Boutella plays the monster. Secondly, the film got outstanding visuals, and of course, the presence of Tom Cruise adds value to its overall impression.

In the new teaser trailer, we see Sofia Boutella tossing Tom Cruise across the forest. It looks like she is ready to take his life, but that’s not going to be easy since he’s the hero of the film and has God-gifted powers to defeat the monsters.

What does the trailer depict?

No doubt, “The Mummy” is one of the most talked-about movies to date. In the featurette, we get a chance to see the history of Monster Movies as Tom Cruise fights against the monsters (including Sofia Boutella) using some old weapons. But he doesn’t know that he cannot destroy the evils with those weapons; certainly, he needs to plan something else to destroy the group of evil creatures.

Director Alex Kurtzman has worked hard on the movie visuals, and that’s evident from the latest clip. As the monster is none other than a supermodel, you may fall in love with her rather than disliking her evil mission. An ancient queen (Sofia Boutella of "Star Trek Beyond" and "Kingsman: The Secret Service"), is safely entombed beneath the soil.

Her powers were taken from her in the past, but are awakened in the modern day. Now Sofia is crazy to get everything back she lost in ancient times.

From the sands of the Middle East to modern-day London, “The Mummy” is bringing a lot of intensity and a blend of great visuals and action sequences. The film explores new gods and monsters, who fight against the hero (Tom Cruise) and his few friends.

When will the film release?

The Mummy” is directed by Alex Kurtzman, who previously served as a producer-director on “Fast and Furious” and “Wanted” alongside Chris Morgan. The story and dialogues are written by Jon Spaihts and Christopher McQuarrie, with Bobby Cohen serving as executive producer. The film will swing into theaters on June 9, 2017.

In addition to Sofia Boutella and Tom Cruise, “The Mummy” features Rez Kempton, Russell Crowe, Annabelle Wallis, Marwan Kenzari, Courtney Vance, Jake Johnson, Selva Rasalingam, and Dylan Smith.

The world premiere took place on May 22, 2017, at the State Theater in Sydney, while the movie is set to release in the United States this June. “The Mummy” is projected to gross over $40 million in the opening weekend, and an average of $950 million during its theoretical run.
