Fans of the American post-apocalyptic science fiction TV series "The 100" would agree that the show has a lot of thrilling and heart-pumping scenes that could give viewers a lot of stress. Actress Lindsey Morgan (Raven Reyes) teased that the finale for season 4 is not going to be any different. Last week, we saw how a lot of people seemed to have accepted their fate.
"The 100" season 4 finale is titled “Praimfaya," and it follows Clarke and her team as they get ready for the end of the world caused by Praimfaya's arrival. Praimfaya is a reference to the nuclear explosion over 100 years ago.
In the series, this event took place in 2052 and it devastated the Earth with radiation. Episode 12 shows how Bellamy, Clarke, Murphy, and the rest head to the island to come up with another plan to survive.
Impossible decisions will have to be made
The officiall synopsis for the upcoming episode has already been released, and it says that with Praimfaya arriving, our heroes will be forced to make impossible decisions to ensure they will survive. The promotional pictures for "The 100" season 4 finale show that the main characters like Murphy (Richard Harmon), Bellamy (Bob Morley), Clarke (Eliza Taylor), and Raven (Lindsey Morgan) are getting ready for the nuclear holocaust. Also, who was that person lurking outside the bunker after Bellamy, Clarke, Emori, and Murphy left?
That scene seems to show that there is going to be a traitor.
The previous episode showed the factions making decisions in terms of who lives and who dies, and viewers said it was very hard to watch. This week, promotional photos reveal that our heroes are wearing protective body suits as they tread on what looks like a frozen wasteland.
It certainly looks like nothing important can be found there, but could the answer to humanity's survival be hidden in this frozen land?
Sneak peak for next season will be teased
During an interview with TV Guide, Morgan said that the finale is going to be quite a ride, and that it won't stop from beginning to end. She teased that viewers are going to be really sweaty, and that they are going to be in for a lot of stress.
She also hinted that a sneak peek for "The 100" season 5 is going to be teased, and it will show what the cast has been trying to convey. Fans will also see that the series is cooking up something that is very unexpected. "The 100" season 4 finale is set to air on May 24 on The CW. Dean White directed the episode, and it was written by Jason Rothenberg.
