If you are a fan of Liam Neeson – known for starring in the “Taken” movie saga – and want to get him to appear magically, there may be a way to make that happen. The key? You just need to offer him something for free.

A sandwich shop offered Liam free food

It is a well-known fact that Liam has a pretty “particular set of skills” when it comes to finding things. In this case, he had no trouble finding this Big Star Sandwich Shop.

The “Taken” star was in the Vancouver-area as he was filming scenes for his upcoming movie Hard Powder.” A local sandwich shop decided to seize the opportunity and see if they could get the actor to show up while he was filming.

How did they do this? Well, they put up a sign outside of their shop that said “Liam Neeson eats here for free” on one side of the sign. On the back of the sign, they wrote: “Get ‘Taken’ away by our sandwiches.” Naturally, any fans of Liam Neeson in the area couldn’t help but stop by and grab a bite to eat. It was what happened later that afternoon that took the workers at the sandwich shop by surprise.

It was the very same day

The very same day the local sandwich shop put up the sign offering free food to Liam Neeson was the day the actor decided to surprise the employees by making an appearance. Neeson posed with the employees of the sandwich shop for pictures of the sign which prompted him to pay them a visit in the first place.

While the sign certainly did a good job of getting the “Taken” star to appear magically, it was later revealed Liam did not take the sandwich shop up on their offer for free food. Whether that means he didn’t eat there at all or wouldn’t let them give him food for free is unclear. Liam did take the time to pose for some pictures with the employees who came up with the crafty idea.

After showing a little love to the sandwich shop - and probably giving them the surprise of a lifetime – chances are pretty good Liam returned to the set to continue filming “Hard Powder.” One can only wonder if other businesses and restaurants are going to be inspired to do the same thing with the hopes of getting their favorite actor or actress to make an appearance.

After all, who wouldn’t want the opportunity to pose for a picture with Liam Neeson?

"Hard Powder" doesn't have a release date as of yet, but it is expected to hit the theaters sometime next year. Fans of the series "Shameless" will be happy to know Emmy Rossum has teamed up with Liam Neeson to bring this movie to life. Will you be heading out to see the film when it hits theaters?
